Located on the site of a 16th Century rice plantation, The Tradition is a product of the noted golf architect Ron Garl and opened for play in 1996. There are a good number of water holes on the course, but of special note are two island greens, one on a par three and the other on a par four. The course is always in impeccable condition, with the greens especially well-manicured.
There is plenty of shopping and entertainment nearby, including the popular Quigley’s Pub and the best bakery in the area, Kudzu, less than a half mile from the front gate at The Tradition. Inside the gate, homes are a pleasing mix of single-family and attached villas, with current prices from the mid $500s.
